In the Words of the ESPN Announcer, “What a Stud…”

You may have already seen this….. it happened August 9th in the Southwest Regional Little League World Series, Tulsa, OK vs. Pearland from Texas East. Pearland Little Leaguer Kaiden Shelton is on the mound. Tulsa’s Isaiah Jarvis is at bat. Pearland is ahead 3 to 2. They are 12 years old.

There isn’t much wisdom I can add. Only this: In an interview later with Isaiah Jarvis, the Little Leaguer explained what was on his mind at that moment he left first base, “I see Kaiden getting emotional. And So I tossed my helmet to the side. I was trying to go spread Jesus’ love and do what he would do in that situation and go and comfort him tell him that I was okay and I was just making sure he knew I would be okay moving forward.”

Thanks Isaiah, now can the rest of us please act like a 12-year-old?
