2022 Wildlife Photographer of the Year

When Tony and I lived in London, each fall we would visit the Natural History Museum to see the best 100 wildlife photos on display from the Wildlife Photographer of the Year contest. The exhibit would be both inside the galleries and in the outdoor courtyard. With large format photos from around the world (this year 93 countries were represented), I would walk around gobsmacked and speechless, which is fairly rare, The images were breathtaking, heartbreaking and spine tingling.

This year’s winner, Karine Aigner lives in Washington D.C. and captured bees rolling through the Texas sands in a romantic tryst that I guess only bees really understand.
